I made the Bait and Tackle banner for he alleyway in Meow Wolf's Houston exhibit. The alleyway is a surreal, pan-cultural, open-air market street, nestled between tall buildings.
My goal was to create a highly graphic sign with bold visual language that could allude to a detailed narrative or spark imagination for this sign being storefront advertising. I took inspiration from old-world European city banners.
